Mr. Jean-Bosco Talla, the Publishing Director of “Germinal”, the weekly newspaper in Cameroon is held at the Secretariat of State for Defense, Yaoundé.

 

 

We've learned when to press yesterday, that Mr. Jean-Bosco Talla, the managing editor of “Germinal”, the weekly newspaper in Cameroon is held at the Secretariat of State for Defense, in Yaounde since Thursday, December 10, 2009. This inquiry follows the publication of an article on a probable "secret pact" between Ahmadou Ahidjo and Paul Biya in the latest edition of Germinal.

In June last, Jean-Bosco Talla said receiving death threats via SMS, following the publication of the report of the NGO Catholic Committee against Hunger and Development (CCFD) about “ill-gotten property of President Paul Biya, the report in which the editorial director of Germinal had helped write as a member of that association.
